The voice sounded so far away, like her head was being held underwater. 

“Miss Martin?” 

She was lost in her own mind, replaying all of the heartbreak, the fear, the guilt she had felt through her entire life in the name of the church of The High Chosen. 

She thought about the way her father, the Elder of the church, sat her down at the age of ten to explain to her she’d be forced to marry the most worthy boy of the church; and how that worthiness was calculated based on the donations from their parents. 

She thought about the debutante ball he’d forced her to participate in, parading her around the stage like a show dog before sending her to the dance floor with a full dance card. 

She thought about the weekly meetings with the very pastor that stood before her and her father, where she needed to explain her worthiness and promise she was still pure. 

“Feyre.” 

It was a different voice that brought her back to the present. It was younger, and came from beside her. 

Feyre blinked, the pristine chapel surrounded her once more, and she glanced over at the owner of that voice. Her fiance. Her dark eyes connected with his and it felt like the white dress that adorned her body tightened with every breath. “I…” She struggled to catch her breath, but tried to wear a brave face as she turned towards the pastor once more. “I’m so sorry. What did you say?” 

The holy man gave her a tight lipped smile as he placed his hand over the pages of his bible. “I asked, Miss Martin, do you take Mr. Sharpe to be your lawfully wedded husband?” He placed his hand on Feyre’s shoulder, turning her towards her fiance. 

Her skin burned at the contact, she couldn’t help but flinch away from his touch. 

“Do you promise to surrender to him? To support him through his dreams, his desires,-” 

Her ears rang as she looked up at him, the man that was to be her husband- perhaps the only kind man within a hundred miles. She’d seen him around town, in church, and they danced at the church’s gatherings- He seemed to be the only person who didn’t see her like an object. They’d only been engaged for a month, and that was with Feyre stalling the wedding every chance she could get. His father, the highest bidder, won, and the wedding was supposed to be two weeks prior. 

Her fiance took her shaking hands into his, an attempt to comfort. 

They were both trapped. She knew that if they didn’t do something, they’d be stuck in this hell forever. They’d raise kids here, and those children would be forced to live through the same awful experiences they had. She’d asked him- no- begged with him to run with her, as far away as they could. They could be friends, they could have helped each other, but he said no. He couldn’t leave his family. 

Though she couldn’t help but feel she was abandoning him when she shook her head and said, “No.” 

The pastor stammered, “W-what? Miss Martin I don’t think I heard you correctly.” 

“No,” Feyre firmly repeated, pulling her hands away from the only kind person she’d ever known. He gripped her tighter, silently pleading her to not follow through with this. 

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,” She looked at her now ex-fiance, tears streaming down her face as it became even more difficult to breathe. Feyre yanked her hands from him before running to the small reception hall catty corner to the altar. 

The girl locked the doors behind her and took that moment of calm to take a breath. Immediately after, she heard the familiar sound of her father banging on the door, screaming threats that would become promises if that door opened even an inch. Feyre scanned the room, trying her best to think of something to do. Anything. 

She was so small- she couldn’t possibly fight back. 

The banging on the door got louder and louder, it was nearly impossible to hear her own thoughts. 

That was, until she saw the big stack of envelopes that sat next to the gifts on the table before her. Envelopes that had cards, cards that had money. 

She kicked off her heels, jamming the points below the door in an attempt to slow them down even more, before scooping the hefty amount of envelopes up in her hands. She knew the janitor, who had been working for the church as long as she’d been alive, kept his work clothes in the closet, so she swung open the door and slipped on the work shoes that were too big for her and stuffed the envelopes into a backpack that laid on the ground. 

She heard the wood of the door’s frame begin to splinter. She needed to leave- immediately. 

Feyre slid open the nearest window and, without a backward glance, she crawled through. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her.

Chapter 21

- Lottie getting the Portman job is supposed to be a scene that’s so exciting for her but it just kills me to think of Jamie wishing he could save Lottie from it

- And of course Lottie taking it as Jamie not thinking she’s good enough. He’s trying to protect you!!!

- Portmans are this big royal secret but making Lottie a Portman is basically giving up that secret forever because they all know she’s going to eventually have to be revealed as a Portman ??? Did that make sense

- I would do anything to go to the Rosewood library are you kidding me.

- Lottie immediately being jealous of Ellie getting along with Saskia, this girl is in love

- I feel like they make the not sleeping thing into a bigger deal than it is??? Lottie could’ve easily gotten some sleeping pills or something weeks ago and fixed it. Insomnia is common especially in students but to Ellie and Jamie this is the end of the world

I LOVE THIS I love how after you've read the series already, you can see the cogs turning in Saskia's head. It must be so shitty to be a partizan and see someone else have so little regard for their own partizan that they don't know about their basic interests (even though that's not the case here, its just how it appears from Saskia's POV). chapter 21

death and friend for Mikayla, Nerevarine and Altrus!

DEATH: What was your OC's first experience with death? Was it a person they knew, a pet they had, a story they heard? How did they feel about it then, and what do they remember about it now?

Nerevarine : Ohhh Nerevarine's experience with death was durning fight on red mountain with Dagoth Ur who almost killed Nerevarine but after it they surived it. However later they worked hard to improve with their skills. But the first ever experience with death for Nerevarine was durning their dreams about how Nerevar has died ,they felt so scared and thought how they made Azura and people on Vvardenfell disapointed with the fact that once again they can die by hands of tribunal.

Altrus : His first ever experience with death was when he was young and he acedently killed one of servant in Alinor and it was his first atemtpt of doing necromancy , the second was when his parents died by hands of dark brotherhood (who he himself ordered to kill them) ,he felt so relieved ,later his wife died from sickness but I think the most deep and heartbroking was Martin's dead ,since he was the only one who was dear to him and the only one who Altrus' let his tears go.

Mikayla : For Mikayla her first experience with death would be probably durning helgen and when lot people died there ,after escaping there Mikayla couldn't much sleep and she was really overthinking how a lot of innocent people have died there and she couldn't do much ,she regret it everyday. Later probably death of Ancano has also took her to edge ,she didn't wanted to end this way but she didn't had choice she still remebers how she hold his death body and cry

FRIEND: Who was your OC's first friend? How did they meet? What was their friendship like? Are they still friends now?

Nerevarine : oohhh their first ever friend in Vvardenfell was Dagoth Ivris (my dagoth oc) it was funny how they met because once when Nerevarine was drinking alone ,Ivris has caught their eyes and when she left the tavern ,they decided to follow her but what they didn't know that she was high active memeber of morang tong ,when she killed her target ,nerevarine quickly hide but of course Ivris quickly moved to stop him ,and put her dagger against their throat, when they promised her that they won't tell anyone about it ,she wasn't very trustful and deiced to follow them, when she also noticed that the outlander is also nerevar reborn ,she decided to also used them to bring back house dagoth to place. They are still friends even in 4E 201 .

Altrus : Actually as much as I would like to say it was Martin ,I have to say that first ever Altrus friend was Baurus ,even after escaping imperial prison and death of Uriel ,both later become friends and very close best friend ,it was also Baurus who helped Altrus confess his feelings toward Martin. After Martin's death Baurus was there for Altrus to comfort him but later their friendship cut when Altrus went to shivering isle.

Mikayla : hmmm for Mikayla I would say her first ever friend was Lydia ,even tho Lydia always adressed to Mikayla as "Thane" Mikayla said to her she doesn't has to call her that and she can call her by her name. Both togheter always goes for adventure and both of them always got each other backs. Lydia has thaught Mikayla with using weapons havier and train her muscles ,while Mikayla has taught Lydia how to do potions. They are still very close tho Mikayla trust Lydia to take care for Sofie while she is on advenures and saving skyrim, but both of them writes to each others letters.

I was planning to post other headcanons before going for these, BUT I’ve got some for Rockstar!Touya that are pestering my mind these days and your asks come in the right moment, so bear with me please 🤧

࣪𖤐… ROCKSTAR!TOUYA

The first time Touya knew that he wanted to become a rockstar was in middle school, right at the age of thirteen, his influent CEO of a father was trying to mold him into a carbon copy of himself to rival Yagi Toshinori’s Enterprise. While taking a break from studies, he saw his sister watch on TV a rock concert of “Loudness” and to say Akira Takasaki is his role model is the least. That’s a true legend to him.

After “Loudness” and Akira Takasaki, he discovered “Metallica” and Kirk Hammett which made him go like “HOW??? HAVE??? I??? MISSED??? ALL??? THIS???”, scolding himself for taking so long to fall in love with the electric guitar and its sound. The next week he’s blasting full volume “The Final Countdown” by Europe inside the Todoroki Mansion like the good old stamp rock fanatic he is, getting himself scolded and grounded by Enji who is a fan of traditional Japanese music so yeah…

At one of the Todoroki family gatherings during the weekend, he was scrolling down his phone looking first of all where to take guitar lessons and second for a guitar to buy, but he knew his father would never agree to get him one. That’s when his grandfather, peeking at his grandson’s phone, butted in and asked Touya if he’s interested in music. He wasn’t sure if it was a good thing to answer that question, since he’s the father of his father, but he did and hell has it been the best thing he did!

On his fourteenth birthday, Enji’s father bought Touya his very first electric guitar, a good old Fender Stratocaster CUSTOM MADE for him. It’s snow white like his hair and has a his name engraved on the bottom left side of the guitar, while on the other side there were engraved tiger’s fangs, all in turquoise… The color of his eyes. And this has been by far Touya’s best birthday ever.

After finishing Middle School he choose to attend an Art School, taking the music classes as main classes of course; he may or not have done it to piss off and raise Enji’s blood pressure from how mad he got for choosing something different from Finances and Management. Oh his father was livid and Touya was so proud of himself for that.

He has formed a rock band, of which he’s the guitarist and vocalist, with Tenko Shimura (Bassist&Vocalist) and Shuichi Iguchi (Drummer) called “The Villains”… Are we even surprised about this name? Really? Because I am not. Tenko suggested, Iguchi supported strongly and Touya just went with it because complaining and thinking about another name was “Too much effort”. He likes it a lot but will never admit it.

At the age of nineteen, Touya owns a Fender Stratocaster (Custom Made), an Elite Stratocaster, an ST-83-80 Japan (1983) black, Lone Star Strat, IC350 black, IC50 black, ICHI00 white, Gibson SG Standard mahogany and a Jackson Pro Series DK Modern HT6 MS. He also owns four acoustic guitars for songwriting, like a Martin GPC-X1E, Martin 000-28 Modern Deluxe, Taylor GS Mini-e Rosewood SN LTD and a Taylor AD22e. Did he pay all them with Enji’s credit card? Hell yeah. Did he do it out of spite? Absolutely. Did he care about his father’s blood pressure rising even more? Not even remotely.

His favorite groups are Loudness, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Europe, Scorpions, Slipknot, Three Days Grace, Green Day, Skillet, Linkin Park, The Rasmus, L’Arc-En-Ciel, UVERworld, Nirvana, Guns N’ Roses and Evanescence to list some, because there are many more he adores honestly. He isn’t a picky ear as long as the song gives him chills and inspires him, being someone who’s driven by emotions that’s what makes him likes something he hears.

Atsuhiro is their homeroom teacher, at the Art University they attend, who introduces them to Giran, a friend of his, who has an agency for new talents and after they sent him six of their songs wants to launch their very first album by August to make them debut at the “Rock In Japan Fes.”

Touya, being the emotional driven type of musician, is the one put to write the lyrics for the band’s songs and most of the times are hits, especially because his and Tenko’s voice brings to life the emotions of the lyrics in a way that it reaches the listeners right into the heart and soul.

You will never catch Touya’s fingers empty, there’s always rings decorating them and some rings are even custom made by his cousin Geten, who owns a Jewelry shop that he promotes a lot on his social media. One of his most precious rings is the one that he got made for him, with his birthstone carved in it, when he turned eighteen.

He has three earrings on his right ear: an helix, mid helix, conch and low helix. Four on his left one: two helix, a low helix and one on the lobe, plus three nostril piercings on the right side of his nose.

After “The Villains” debuts and proving his father that he could succeed through music without his help nor his name, Touya owns now a black card that he lets Fuyumi and Shoto use to their heart content.

Last, but not least, be ready to be the muse of Touya’s songs the instant he falls head over heels for you. The moment it happens everything, and I mean everything, to him becomes about you driving Tenko and Iguchi to pure exasperation.

Chapter 34

- Why are there fireworks going off before midnight you’re supposed to save them for when it’s the new year

- Raphael is actually so dumb for trying to scare them oh my god hahaha

- Lottie is just like me fr “But it’s off limits!” I would have turned around and left rightttt away I’m such a rule follower it’s sad. Lottie the autism is strong.

- Saskia is actually a terrible head of house if she’s letting everyone break the one rule. Foreshadowing that she’s not to be trusted??

- Was there ever a reason given as to why it was off limits?

- Ellie being super selfish again because she KNOWS that her being at the party means Lottie and Jamie have to be there too even though they obviously don’t want to be. This reread is actually making me so angry at Ellie

- Jamie is lowkey stupid for drinking Anastacia’s lemonade when he’s supposed to be suspicious of her

- Seriously how is Ani allowing all this flirting between Ellie and Saskia

- This chapter is so iconic though this is one of the big ones fr. Fueled all the jottie shippers back in the day

Chapter 36

- I don’t really ship Jamie and Lottie but their relationship is so important to me. Lottie dove into the pool for him and revived him even though she had no idea what she was doing. All of that for someone who she thinks doesn’t even like her but he actually cares SO MUCH I’m gonna cry

Chapter 37

- Punishment was way too light for everyone, Saskia should have definitely lost her title and I’m not just saying that because she’s the villain but she endangered everyone by allowing it to happen

- Professor Devine talks to both Lottie and Ellie about her disappointment but seriously Lottie had no choice since it’s suspicious if Jamie’s there without his “princess” so really it’s all Ellie’s fault. Why is this reread turning me into an Ellie hater

binah: analyses every episode frame by frame, byler and lumax shipper, points out all the tiny details and references to 1980’s things that nobody else notices

lola: sits in complete and utter silence with her bag of fudge and nobody knows if she’s terrified or loving it (she’s loving it)

mickey: also sits in complete and utter silence with his bag of fudge but everyone knows he’s absolutely terrified. he’s also a will byers kinnie but he doesn’t know that since he’s too scared to watch

percy: he is for byler if byler is for byler and he is sure as hell that byler is for byler. 50/50 split between mike and will and has decided that him and mickey are the definition of byler (i wrote byler way too much here)

raphael: “lmao they’re so gay” “she’s a lesbian” “look me in the eye and tell me that man is not bisexual” has been kicked in the head (by ani) multiple times for talking too much, lucas sinclair kinnie and byler shipper

The Godly parents of the Rosewood Chronicles characters (Percy Jackson AU)

Nobody is going to see this lmao but I've been thinking about it for a while, so I might as well get all my thoughts out. This is what happens when my two hyperfixations come together into one :)

Lottie Pumpkin: Demeter. I feel like since Lottie is such a nurturing character, she would do well in Demeter cabin where they grow plants and stuff like that. Also, in the books Lottie is said to have a connection to the Rose Wood forest as well. I feel like that’s very on brand for a child of Demeter to have a connection to the surrounding nature. Lottie would love helping grow different flowers and fruits at Camp Half Blood and would prefer to not go on quests. If Lottie were to go on a quest, she'd use a bow and arrow.

Ellie Wolf: Zeus. I don’t know if it’s just because Ellie gives total Thalia Grace vibes (they literally are the same person in different fonts) but I feel like Ellie would be a daughter of Zeus. Ellie would understand the pressure of being a child of one of the Big Three as well as daughter of the king of the gods. Also imagining Ellie with lightning powers is so cool. Like, every time Ellie loses her temper, she would start to summon sparks of lightning and stuff. Ellie would love the freedom and adventure that comes with going on quests, she’d even go as far to tag along on quests that weren’t for her. Would take capture the flag WAY too seriously. Ellie would also be a really good swordsman.

Jamie Volk: Hades. I have to admit, I didn’t really know who to put for Jamie, but I decided on Hades. I feel like it makes since for Jamie to be a child of the Big Three since he’s the heir to the throne of Maradova in the books, so he would have a lot of power. I also feel like since Jamie’s backstory is a big deal for him in the books, once he found out about his true parentage, he’d try to summon the ghost of his mother Hirana the way Nico did with Bianca. If Jamie went to Camp Jupiter, he’d definitely be a Praetor. Jamie wouldn’t like going on quests that much, but recognizes it as his duty. After a while of serving the gods, getting nearly killed a million times while on quests for the gods, he’d start to turn against the gods. Would always beat other campers in capture the flag/war games. Most of the time, Jamie would just summon the dead in a fight, but he's also really good with all weapons, since he's Praetor.

Anastacia Alcroft: Aphrodite. Listen, Ani would charmspeak the fuck out of people to get whatever she wants. In the books, she’s stated to be extremely beautiful and she cares a lot about appearance (her hair), so I think Aphrodite fits her. Anastacia would be known around Camp Half Blood for also being a really good swordsman. She doesn’t really like going on quests, since she’s not a big fan of serving the gods.

Saskia San Martin: Ares. My thoughts around this are mostly because I thought it would be cute if she was a daughter of Ares and Ani was the daughter of Aphrodite. Saskia would have heightened battle instincts and would easily beat anyone in a fight, camper or monster. She would like quests in the sense that she gets to get rid of the monsters that keep trying to kill her, but she would HATE going on quests that benefit the gods. She hates feeling like she'd just a tool of the gods, and would eventually betray Camp Half Blood to try to take down the gods. Eventually, she would be brought back to the good side, and she would rekindle her relationship with Anastacia, then they would spend the rest of their lives together at Camp Jupiter in New Rome.

Binah Fae: Athena. If you thought Binah was going to be anything other than a child of Athena, you’ve sadly mistaken. Binah loves knowledge; it makes sense for her to be the daughter of the goddess of wisdom. Binah would love helping campers out with quests and other general demigod stuff. She'd definitely be camp counselor, even if she's not the oldest one in Athena cabin. She’d weirdly be on good terms with most (if not all) of the gods. Binah would be able to guess who a camper’s godly parent is before they even get claimed. It’d be like a little game for her. Even Binah's siblings would be amazed at how much knowledge she has. Would be an amazing strategist, and would always win in capture the flag. She doesn’t mind being put on quest, since she likes helping other demigods. She’s also just really reliable to the gods. If on a quest, Binah would mostly use her wits and battle strategy to outsmart any monster she comes across, but will use a knife as a last resort (I feel like she would like the precision a knife would bring in a fight).

Raphael Wilcox: Dionysus. Dionysus is literally the god of theater. End of story. I thought about making Raph the son of Apollo, and honestly, I'm still on the fence with the decison to make Raph a son of Dionysus. Imagining Raphael at Camp Half Blood and him interacting with Mr. D is just too ridiculous of an image-

Either way, Raphael would not like going on quests. He definitely does not want to get killed by a monster. Raphael would also be a very good archer. He'd spend a lot of his time at Camp Half Blood in the amphitheater, putting on plays for the whole camp to watch, with his friends from Apollo cabin, and his own siblings. He'd be closer friends with Rio (child of Dionysus), and Miko (daughter of Apollo). He'd also like to play very romantic, comedic characters in the plays, trying to get the attention of one Ollie Moreno. . .

Ollie Moreno: Hebe. I couldn't really think of anything else for Ollie. Hebe is the goddess of youth I believe, and I feel like that's perfect for Ollie. Throughout the Rosewood Chronicles, Ollie is the character that reminds Lottie of childhood, and is always described as having a baby face. Also, Ollie just have a very youthful vibe, yk? Like he's always making jokes and being super sweet and stuff.

Percy Butter: Hypnos. Idk. He just kinda gives me a sleepy vibe. I think that this boy deserves to rest.

Lola and Micky Tompkins: Hebe. Lola and Micky remind me of two little children. They just have such a wholesome, child-like vibe, so I think they would both fit into Hebe cabin.

Sayuri Chiba: Bellona. Maybe I'm just saying this because Sayuri is literally a copy-and-paste of Reyna from HoO, but I'm gonna go with Bellona, Roman goddess of war. Sayuri would also def. become a Praetor. Like Jamie, Sayuri is a natural leader and inspires unity within the legion. Jamie and Sayuri would have a similar bond to Reyna and Jason, but without the romantic aspect (can you tell how much I wish we got to have more sayuri and jamie interactions in the books? I like to think that they became closer friends after PEA, when jamie and haru got together. they like to talk about how ridiculous everybody else is. they have gossip sessions together. i love them <3). I think that Sayuri would enjoy quests in the sense that it makes her feel like she's making a difference/impact on the lives of her fellow demigods. Sayuri would fight monster off with a club (like the baseball bat she uses as the pink demon), but she'd also be able to fight really well with a sword.

Haru Hinamori: Aphrodite. I ALMOST put Haru in Hermes cabin, but I think I was just thinking that because Haru lowkey gives me Luke Castellan vibes (unfortunately). . . . Anyways! I decided on Aphrodite cabin, since everyone fell for Haru's charms so easily in the books. Haru would also be able to charmspeak people into doing his bidding during his time when he was fighting against the gods. If we're going with the idea that Jamie and Sayuri go to Camp Jupiter, Haru would meet Jamie since he's childhood friends with Sayuri, and he met Jamie when Jamie and Sayuri first became Praetors together.

Emelia Malouf: Nemesis. Nemesis is the goddess of revenge, and I think that's very fitting for Emelia. She spends most of the RWCH fighting to get revenge on Claude for destroying her life, and that kinda drive would be perfect as a child of Nemesis. I feel like, once Emelia has gotten revenge on whoever has made her life a living hell, she'd join the Hunters of Artemis, and help hunt monsters. I don't think that Emelia would like the setting of Camp Half Blood much, so she'd enjoy being able to get away from CHB with the rest of the Hunters and goddess Artemis.

- lottie mentioning the phone ban, honestly i still don’t understand how they survive that lol

- ok why do i always forget that lottie is a somewhat preachy vegetarian 😭

- OKAY ELLNASTACIA BANTER… i see you guys… we (the fandom) are not delusional in seeing this

- ellie eating all the food is poetry idk. she’s never been told to stop eating all the food okay. it’s beautifully relatable and RAW as a character moment (i have no idea what i’m talking about)

- okay yeah the ellie and saskia flirting i really hate. esp bc saskia is with ani it just feels so weird. and ani deserves the world, genuinely.

- plus i just don’t like the ship at all and their attraction to each other imo feels very random and i don’t really see their romantic connection as characters. i know they’re just a fling type of relationship but i don’t even see the spark honestly 😭

- lottie feeling jealous though LOL lottie you’ll understand why eventually.

- ani IS nice. she’s suspicious in undercover princess but she never actually does anything cruel or mean. her heart is in the right place (ani defender) (still upset that she got sidelined at the end)

- lottie being like no ellie was placed in MY HOUSE. might as well say SHE'S MINE.

- okay the story is really haunting but i'm failing to see the plot relevance? is lottie upset due to the intensity of emotions displayed by ester and liana? and that she feels that intense emotion with ellie too ? idk. is it a metaphor? i'd love input on this.

chapter 33

- lottie feeling like she wasn't made for the royal world and she's struggling in it :(

- ellie comforting lottie is genuinely so cute she's communicating and listening to her it's so healthy

- the box gift is so cute.

- lollie are beautifully written as polar opposites they're so so sweet
